The festival will provide a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all attendees, including food and drink stalls, toilet facilities, and a first aid station. There is also an accessible loo located at the main entrance to the festival. Specific details about additional amenities and accessibility features will be provided closer to the event date.
Festival Sessions is accessible on foot from the Sett Valley Car Park, Hayfield. There is no vehicular access to site, unless by prior arrangement with the production team.
The closest train stations are New Mills Central and New Mills Newtown and the 358 bus comes to Hayfield Bus Station/Sett Valley Car Park.
From here it is a five minute walk down the flat, Sett Valley Trail onto site.
Alternatively, you can get a taxi to drop you off at the top of the site on New Mills Road. Lynx taxis are a local company and can be contacted on: 0161 483 1099.
Unfortunately, there's no camping available at the Festival Sessions as it's a series of ticketed events that end each evening. While we don’t offer on-site camping, the local area around Hayfield and New mills offers a variety of accommodation options.
The festival site is on the edge of the Peak District National Park and the terrain is sloping. For people with mobility issues we have an accessible toilet available near the entrance to the site. There is no formal seating so guests are invited to bring their own chairs and blankets.
We aim to be fully inclusive so if you require further information or would like to talk to us about your specific requirements please get in touch with: lyndsay@thetentpeople.co.uk.
